The Nonprofit Leadership Summit celebrated new ideas in leadership already making a difference in our sector (via the Excellence Awards) and helped uncover those that will change our lens on how leadership could work.

  • 5 award winners shared what they did and why
  • 5 disruptive ideas were moved forward through questions and discussion
  • 1 vote - 2 disruptive ideas were selected by Summit attendees to receive resources from the Nonprofit Center and other supporters over the coming year to help move their ideas towards implementation.

Disruptive Leadership Ideas

We received an abundance of ideas when we put out the call. Thank you to all who participated! The finalist ideas, and those who submitted them, are listed below:
  • Redirecting our sector to address root causes - Frank Martinelli

  • Overhead Myth Busters - Natalie Dorrler
  • Collaborative approaches to back office functions - Anna Bierer, Deborah Ross-Corbett & Leah Samson
  • Access to skilled youth - Dionne Grayson

And the Winners Are...
